Buckshaw Village Church

Back in August 2010, a small group of us from Buckshaw and nearby started meeting together on Sunday mornings, and at other times during the week (seeMeeting Times); as Christians, we want to live out and share the good news of Jesus Christ, working alongside other local groups for the good of the community.

We have grown significantly in number over the last two years, with a lively mix of adults and children. Some of the BVC congregation would not call themselves Christian at present, but still come along on Sundays to find out more about the Jesus of history. For this reason, we aim to make our meetings accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background and any previous experience of ‘church’.

Buckshaw Village Church has the support of Methodist and Anglican churches in Leyland, Chorley and Euxton, and is led by James Gwyn-Thomas, an ordained minister in the Church of England.
