In association with the BVCA, The HaHa Club is offering an afternoon of stand up comedy for 8-16 year olds!
This is the first event of its kind locally, and Buckshaw based Haha Club will be supporting the BVCA while doing it! The event is exactly what it says on the tin, quality stand up comedy for kids! Doors open at 4pm with the show starting at 4.30pm on 19th November at Buckshaw Community Centre.
Tickets cost just £5 each and all door profits are being donated to the Buckshaw Village Community Association, to be used for future Buckshaw community events, village amenities and community projects too. Click here to get your tickets now!
All 3 of the acts are brilliant pro comics, with an undeniable ability to engage with a younger audience. Tony Jameson has been described as a 'Fast-rising talent...' Newcastle Evening Chronicle, Phil Chapman “has funny bones, I would laugh at his skeletal remains…” and Ben Van Der Velde is “Whipsharp…with an air of mischievous mayhem…his hit-rate is impressive, while his in-the-moment style creates a buzz of excitement in the room…”.
If you enjoy having your funny bone tickled but are a little older than 16, The HaHa Club has an adult comedy show available in the evening also on 19th November from 8pm. The line up includes headliner Nick Helm, Fosters Comedy Award Nominee 2011, Amused Moose Best Joke Of The Fringe - Winner 2011. The Guardian described Nick as “a genuinely unique comedy brain.... It makes for a tremendously liberating show, and one where you feel you’re in the presence of a potential megastar.” He’ll be joined by Pat Burtscher and Ben Van Der Velde. Click here for tickets at just £7 each.
