BVCA have plans to make sure the Green Man statue at the entrance to Buckshaw Village is blooming this year. With support from Buckshaw’s ground maintenance firm, Envirocare, Brighter Driveways and Avant Garden Centre, the BVCA are arranging the second of a series of BVCA digs that will be held on Saturday 12th May 2012 from 12pm, where BVCA Committee members and their families, will be planting a new display of colour at the statue.
BVCA is pleased to announce that PCSO Vicky Collins and the Buckshaw Police Team will be offering FREE bike coding this Saturday 5th May from 9.30am at Buckshaw Community Centre.
The Buckshaw Village Community Association (BVCA) is very pleased to announce that Buckshaw Village will soon receive 19 dog/refuse bins across the village! Barratt and Redrow Homes have now confirmed that they will be installing the bins in the coming weeks and they should be installed by end May/early June. With the recent addition of 8 bins by Chorley Borough and South Ribble Borough Council's along Central Ave. This means that Buckshaw residents go from next to no bins, to 27 bins!
Sharing in the Queen's Jubilee celebrations, Buckshaw residents are invited to a traditional Jubilee event hosted by BVCA on Tuesday 5th June from 12pm!
The car boot is almost upon us and the final preparations are under way, the Car Boot opens for the public to browse at 10am. The BVCA are hoping for a good turnout with all the pitches now being sold. Come along, free of charge for a browse between 10am and 2pm. Hot refreshments are avalaible.
