There has been a large fire at Lancashire Business Park in Leyland, where NHS Central Lancashire’s headquarters, Jubilee House, is based. Firefighters are on the scene and several main roads around the area have been shut.

There is no damage to Jubilee House but there is no parking or gas supply/heating to the building. We have a series of contingency and emergency plans in place for events such as this. We have IT systems in place for staff to work remotely from home or other NHS buildings if necessary and our emergency planning team are working at Preston Business Centre to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum.

Please note NHS Central Lancashire is a commissioning organisation (plan and buy services) and has no frontline staff. As such, clinical services will not be affected today.
